About Deca Durabolin:

Decadol (nandrolone decanoate) is one of the most commonly used anabolic steroids among bodybuilders. He is known to be a very effective off-season vitamin boosting steroid, but it is also favored by many in the sports world for its therapeutic benefits. Due to its enormous therapeutic benefits, the Nandrolone family of hormones is one of the most beneficial anabolic steroids in medical practice. However, this medical use has been very limited in the United States for many years due to years of controversy over the use of anabolic steroids. Decadol is still more popular in the treatment regimen outside the US and can cover many areas. Decadol is also known as Nandrolone Decanoate. Caprate provides slow release of Nandrolone from the injection site for up to three weeks. Nandrolone is very similar in structure to testosterone, although it has no carbon atom at position 19 (hence its other name, 19-nortestosterone). Like testosterone, nandrolone also exhibits relatively strong anabolic properties. Unlike testosterone, however, whose tissue building activity is accompanied by weak androgenic properties, the mild properties of nandrolone decanoate make it one of the most popular injectable steroids worldwide. Deca Durabolin has a relatively potent anabolic rating, slightly higher than testosterone. However, its total androgenic activity is much lower than that of testosterone, with an androgen rating of only 37. Compared to Testosterone 100, Deka's reduced androgenic activity is due to the hormone's ability to reduce to DHN, not dihydrotestosterone (DHT). . This makes Decadolamine milder than testosterone and one of the most tolerated anabolic steroids in healthy adult men. This tolerable nature is also evident due to its low estrogenic activity. Decadol has an aromatizing effect, but the proportion of testosterone is only about 20%. However, it does have strong progestin properties, which will have side effects as we'll see later.

Decadol is also known for carrying two very important properties: increasing bone mineral content and enhancing collagen synthesis, and it largely separates it from many anabolic steroids. As an off-season booster steroid, Decadol will provide significant weight gain, but muscle mass gain will be slow. This is a large ester based steroid and it doesn't work fast. However compared to many anabolic steroids the use of Deca tends to cause the most weight gain and most people should also find that their strength increases to some extent and of course also has some relation to water storage but it's fairly easy control.

Structural characteristics of Deca Durabolin

Decadol (nandrolone decanoate) is a modified form of nandrolone in which capric acid has been attached to the 17-beta hydroxyl group. Esterified steroids are less polar than free steroids and are absorbed more slowly from the injection area. Once in the bloodstream, the ester is removed to yield free (active) nandrolone. Nandrolone decanoate provided a sharp peak release within 24-48 hours after deep intramuscular injection, which gradually decreased to near baseline levels after about two weeks. Nandrolone Decanoate (Deka) Product History:

Nandrolone decanoate (Decadoleburine) was first mentioned in 1960 and became a prescription drug in 1962. It was developed by the international pharmaceutical giant Organon and is marketed under the brand name Deca-Durabolin. The name Deca-Durabolin indicates that the product contains a variant of Organon's previously popular Nandrolone injectable Durabolin (nandrolone phenylpropionate) using a 10-carbon ester variant. Organon quickly expanded the market for nandrolone decanoate following its release. Deca-Durabolin is likely to soon become one of the most widely distributed anabolic steroids in the world due to its favorable properties and the large market presence of Organon.

When first introduced to the United States, nandrolone decanoate (such as Durabolin) was used to treat a variety of ailments. Listed indications include preoperative and postoperative use to build lean body mass, osteoporosis, advanced breast cancer, weight loss due to rehabilitation or disease, geriatric conditions (general weakness and frailty), burns, severe trauma, ulcers, Adjunctive treatment of some forms of anemia, and selected cases of growth retardation in children. Due to the very low recommended doses (usually 50-100mg every 3-4 weeks), the drug was initially only sold in 50mg/ml doses. The FDA-approved 1975 prescribing information lists nandrolone decanoate as a "possibly effective" adjunctive treatment for geriatric and postmenopausal osteoporosis, and for the treatment of dwarfism with hypopituitarism until growth hormone is more easy to obtain. It's also thought to be "possibly effective" in helping preserve lean body mass, control advanced breast cancer, and as an adjuvant treatment for certain types of anemia. More time to study potential "less effective" uses of this drug. Modern (approved) medical applications of drugs are even more sophisticated than they were in the mid-1970s. In the U.S., the drug is currently only approved by the FDA to treat anemia, although it is also often used "off-label" to protect lean body mass in HIV-positive patients and others with wasting disease. Nandrolone Decanoate (Deka) Side Effects: Estrogen

Deka is slightly aromatic. Aromatization refers to the ability of testosterone to convert into estrogen, a process that occurs due to the hormone's interaction with aromatase. As estrogen levels rise, this can promote gynecomastia, excess water retention, and promote high blood pressure due to severe water retention. Fortunately, Daika has low levels of aromatase, but there is another factor to consider, and that is its progestogenic properties. Nandrolone has a strong affinity for progesterone receptors and is able to significantly stimulate estrogenic mechanisms in breast tissue, thereby increasing the risk of gynecomastia. Nandrolone Decanoate (Deka) Side Effects: Androgens:

Deka can produce androgenic side effects; however, for most men, the threshold tends to be quite high, basically 99% do not appear, and only a small percentage of sensitive individuals may cause it. Nandrolone Decanoate (Deka) Side Effects: Cardiovascular System

Deca can negatively affect cholesterol by lowering the ratio of HDL to LDL. This potential negative effect is most prominent because it is associated with HDL cholesterol suppression. Studies have shown that nandrolone actually has a stronger effect on HDL cholesterol than testosterone. However, the effects on the cardiovascular system and blood lipids are much lower than most oral steroids. Due to the potential cholesterol problems caused by Deca, it will be very important to maintain a cholesterol-friendly lifestyle while using it. Such doses will ensure recovery, relief and stamina are all enhanced and provide a slight anabolic boost. For true anabolic gain, 300mg per week is generally considered a low-end dose. Many people will find that 400mg per week is the perfect dosage level, and more importantly, within manageable levels. Many men may be able to tolerate doses up to 600mg per week. But this increases the risk of adverse reactions, usually 400mg per week is more than enough, and Deka should not be used for less than 8 weeks on a schedule of use.
